COVID New York City Update: 10 Broadway shows have canceled performances amid recent COVID surge

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) — A complete of ten Broadway shows, practically a 3rd of the 32 which might be presently operating, have canceled performances resulting from COVID outbreaks.

Among the shows going darkish are Hamilton, Ain’t Too Proud to Beg, and Tina.

The surge can be affecting off-Broadway productions reminiscent of Little Shop of Horrors.

The head of Broadway’s Playbill prefers to see a silver lining regardless of the rising listing of cancellations.
