Hundreds of tarantulas bound for Germany seized in airport

Hundreds of wild spiders and bugs have been seized by Colombian authorities on Thursday as they foiled an alleged try to smuggle the bugs to Europe, officers mentioned. A press release from Bogota’s environmental authority mentioned at the least 232 tarantulas, 67 cockroaches, 9 spider eggs, and a scorpion with seven of its younger have been confiscated on the capital’s El Dorado airport.
