President Joe Biden attended an early morning mass Saturday to mark the anniversary of the demise of his first spouse and toddler daughter in a 1972 automobile crash.
Surrounded by relations — together with spouse Jill, son Hunter, and a number of grandchildren — Biden worshiped at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church close to his Wilmington, Del. dwelling.
He then led relations to the churchyard graves of Neilia Biden and baby Naomi, who was 13 months previous on the time of the accident.
