A Newark police officer was rushed to the hospital after he was shot Tuesday night, in line with police.
Newark Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara stated the officer was shot simply after 8:30 p.m. in the realm of 14th Avenue and 14th Street. The damage is just not thought-about to be life-threatening, O’Hara stated, with the officer rushed to University Hospital for therapy.
The officer, who has not but been recognized, is alleged to be in secure situation.
A suspect believed to be concerned in the taking pictures was introduced into custody, and a gun was recovered from the scene, O’Hara stated.
