Teen driver killed in Jefferson County crash
JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – State Police in Alexandria Bay and Watertown are investigating a one-vehicle deadly crash that occurred on Deferno Road in the city of Clayton. Police say, Dakota Yandow, 19, of Clayton, misplaced management of his pickup truck.

According to police, the preliminary investigation decided at about 2: 37 a.m., Yandow was working a 1996 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck touring eastbound on Grant Road. Police say he did not cease on the cease signal on the intersection of Deferno Road.
Yandow was unable to keep up management of the car when he exited the precise shoulder of the roadway, and struck a tree. Troopers discovered Yandow trapped in the car when he was later pronounced deceased on the scene.
