Urban Outfitters Launches UO Summer Class of 2021 HBCU Capsule – WWD

Urban Outfitters has launched a special-edition UO Summer Class of 2021 HBCU Capsule Collection, an unique assortment of collegiate attire and way of life equipment.

It was designed by the UO Summer Class of 2021, a 10-week internship and mentorship program for 5 college students acknowledged for his or her tutorial excellence and artistic expertise, in collaboration with three Historically Black Colleges and Universities – Howard University, Clark Atlanta University and North Carolina A&T State University.

The college students labored with the Urban Outfitters shopping for staff to design a 24-piece attire and way of life assortment celebrating the tradition and neighborhood of their respective faculties.

“Being able to share our resources with HBCU talent, and to work alongside these students creativity as they developed their own product, made Summer Class enriching not only for our students, but for every UO employee who got to be a part of the program,” mentioned Dalila Shannon, Urban Outfitters ladies’s divisional merchandising supervisor and summer season class mentor.
