British telco large Vodafone (NASDAQ:) has reportedly plans to public sale the world’s first Short Message Service (SMS) within the type of a nonfungible token (NFT) on Dec. 21. The SMS, that reads “Merry Christmas”, was despatched 29 years in the past over the Vodafone community on Dec 3, 1992, and was acquired by Richard Jarvis, an worker on the time.

The historic 15 character-long SMS can be auctioned off as an NFT in a one-off sale carried out by the Aguttes Auction House in France, based on Romanian information outlet Ziarul Financiar.
